Oh, well, sort of. You see, we've gotten the best results from the... "ghosts" of Norfinbury by playing along with their interests. The altar clearly seems to have been used for ritual sacrifice, so that's what I did.

[You didn't need any clarification on that to make it sound less horrifying, did you?]

In so far as getting a response, I would consider that a success. It wasn't the kind of response I was hoping for, though.

It was myself. There are a lot of old blood stains around the altar, so I though blood might be what was sacrificed here. I cut my arm a little.

The blood isn't the exciting part, but the reaction was! Were you hoping to get your own prophet symbol? I should warn you, they don't come off.

[Hm. Hange doesn't exactly enjoy being labelled a murderer, but, well, fair enough.]

I haven't tried other sacrifices yet, although I do have one in mind. I wouldn't think the people with the murderous urges had anything to do with the altar. Most of them haven't been to it yet. But I can see why you'd wonder.
