You're right: it's hard to justify death. At least, civilian deaths. [Er, was that weird to say?]

I do still find it worrisome that he can't handle things he can't solve, but on another level, I guess I understand it. Taking the world apart to see what makes it work, it's easier that way to make sense of things, or at least to string together some semblance of sense. And if he has that as an outlet for now, it should be fine, right?

Yes, I think you're exactly right. He should be fine as long as he has an outlet. You don't need to worry.

[Wilson is very aware that that just flat out isn't true, but Hange doesn't need to concern themselves over House any more than House needs more people fussing over him. Wilson's got that covered. Mostly.]

In any case, if any one person stuck in this town can find a way to get us home, it's House. He's miserable, but he's a genius. All of us our a little safer with his brain on our team.

I don't doubt his intelligence. He seems to have figured out quite a bit, or at least made important steps toward it.

I guess him being so useful was one of the reasons I felt concerned. We can't exactly afford to lose someone like him.
